As you may have noted I am rather new to the Vampire world. As a recent Slate article 
mentions (check it out: http://www.slate.com/id/2228717/) it’s not as if vampires are something new. While my main page discusses the pop culture vamp world, I am ready to expand my horizons. While I have read a bulk of the new vampire things coming out, I would love to get some advice about some of the older, iconic, classic vampire works that I simply must read. I would also like to hear about newer vampire books being written outside the Twlight-crazed spot light.
