Hello all!
My name is Natalie Szymanski. I currently a graduate student working on my PhD in Rhetoric and Composition at Florida State University. As my intro post attests, I was once a closest vampire fan…now I proudly discuss what others have described as my “guilt pleasure.”
I spend the bulk of my life reading theory and teaching freshmen composition courses at FSU, but when I can steal moments they belong to the vampires. I have dabbled in a handful of vampire book series, tv shows, and movies and would love to actually talk about those things with people who will not roll their eyes at me.
Yes. I am a 26 year old woman, but there is something about these vampire books, shows, and films that make me giddy (and always have me coming back for more). No matter what age you are, if you are also searching for a place to gossip about your dirty little vampire secret, you have found the place.

And by the way, I still think you should check out Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, even though they’re not of the trashy teen ilk (they’re more of the hyperbolic emo vampire ilk).
